Misunderstanding Love

Misunderstanding Love

This typewriter print was a collaborative effort by my younger sister and I. I painted & wrote, she typed. This one is 4.25" wide x 6" tall, and we imagined it as a simple & plain print for a bulletin board, mirror, or wall.

The Story: Another original writing by me, this piece reflects on what it means to co-exist with others different from us--which is, essentially, everyone. This day, I was writing about what a shame it is not that we all speak different languages, but that we don't make more efforts to try and understand others. Instead, we seek more to be understood, and thus, we miss out on many opportunities to receive love, merely because it's a different delivery than our own methods.
