It's not about that ONE thing, it's about the habits you form.

That “one” thing won’t make a difference.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That ONE cookie.
That ONE skipped workout.
That ONE chore you keep neglecting.
That ONE social commitment you bail on.
That ONE extra drink.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
None of those things ALONE will make a difference.
They really won’t.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which is why it’s so easy to talk ourselves into that “one” piece of dessert, or into skipping out on the hard things, the things we don’t “feel like” doing
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because they really won’t make a noticeable difference.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But it’s not about the noticeable difference.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏼👉🏼IT’S ABOUT THE HABITS & LIFESTYLE YOU CREATE BY CONTINUALLY LIVING THIS WAY.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: 🗣you aren’t one way in one area of your life and another way in another area.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚠️Who you are is who you are, how you are is how you are.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you consistently bail on health goals/commitments, guess what sister— you probably also bail on a lot of other goals/commitments in your life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This morning I *really* didn’t want to go on a run, and I knew that this ONE run wasn’t going to make or break anything for me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But because I don’t want to become the type of person who says she’s going to do things & then doesn’t do them—
I went.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And I keep doing this as much as I can, so that I can create a LIFESTYLE of following through, showing up & doing hard things, even when I don’t “feel like” doing them.
