LIFE: I Took A Wrong Turn

like real bad.

A couple of nights ago, I had somewhere to be, and it was a somewhere I'd never been before. I was using my GPS but somehow still managed to miss a turn, take a wrong exit, and end up on the Westbank of New Orleans, not even close to where I needed to be.

My immediate reaction was a string of words I was raised not to say, followed by frustrated grunts, and annoyance at my terrible sense of direction.

Traffic was a nightmare already & now I was sitting at a dead stop over the Mississippi River, slowly moving further and further from where I needed to be with no way out but over.

When I finally came to & realized the world would still turn & the sun would still rise even if I was late or never made it at all, I looked up & saw the sun setting over the New Orleans skyline, a sight I definitely don't get to see as much a human soul should, and I thought, "I should just look at this as an adventure."

What if you tried to see your wrong turns, detours, missed exits & plans-gone-awry as calls to adventure?

What would that look like for you?
