Potential is a painful thing to believe in.
Nevertheless, I could not do what I do, write what I write, preach what I preach, if it were not for my firm belief in the potential in us all.
I believe we all innately possess the skills necessary to create the lives we want for ourselves.
Innately— as in, we were born already equipped to do and be whatever we want.
And that’s scary, because if you’ve got it (and you do) why aren’t you realizing it?
I think that’s why many of us choose not to believe in potential: to protect ourselves from the weight of the lives we’re not living.
You’ve got everything you need.
